Dr. Ranta holds a professorship in Bioenergy Technology. Dr. Ranta is the national task leader of IEA Bioenergy Task 40 in Finland, which is focusing on sustainable international bioenergy trade. Dr. Ranta is specialized with forest fuel supply systems and logistics, biofuel markets and trade.
