Henrik Thunman is born in 1970, took his M.Sc. (1994) and PhD (2001) in Energy Conversion and become associate professor in Energy Technology in 2004 at Chalmers University of Technology. At present he holds the position as Head of the Energy Technology Division at Chalmers University of Technology. The work at the division is focused on two main areas, conversion of solid fuels and stationary energy systems, and engages around 40 researchers. His main expertise is in combustion and gasification of biomass.
