Dr Ansorge holds a Phd in physico-chemistry and started his career in 1981 as a distillation technologies at Shell Berre refinery in France. He then moved to process devt & design, technical service at the Shell central office at the Hague. He was responsible for the concept, design, start-up and technical service for Shell’s first GTL plant ( SMDS Bintulu, Malaysia ). He conducted feasilibity studies for Shell’s 2nd generation GTL plant and concept devt for Shell’s CTL & BTL. He is currently the technical advisor in XTL matters to Shell Global Solutions.
