Second largest city after the capital Stockholm, Göteborg is an attractive industrial city with excellent road and air connections. It is home to Volvo, Sweden’s domestic car producer, who is very active in environmental policies. Currently Volvo truck is active for DME development based on black liquor gasification in a new EU project. Almost 1/5 of Swedish energy supply is met by biomass. Swedish entrepreneurs are closely working on biomass projects with global investors for subsequent conversion to refined fuels.
