Sean Simpson holds a PhD from York University and a Masters degree from Nottingham University, UK.
Prior to founding LanzaTech in 2005, Sean had several years experience in bio-products development working with Hoffmann La-Roche in Basel, Switzerland, the Japan International Research Centre for Agricultural Sciences, and Genesis R&D in Auckland, New Zealand.
