Michiel Carbo (1978) graduated from the Technical University of Eindhoven with a Master’s degree in studied Building Services, and attended the postgraduate course ‘Process and Equipment Design’ at the Chemical Engineering department of Delft University of Technology. He has been with the Energy research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN) for 6.5 years, and conducted research on CO2 capture technologies as well as biomass gasification, gas cleaning and fuel synthesis. At present he coordinates all Bio Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) R&D activities at ECN.
